Greg Nicholson, DDS
As founder of Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro, Murfreesboro dentist Dr. Greg Nicholson has been brightening smiles since 1992. He has been a member of The American Dental Association (ADA), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), The Tennessee Dental Association (TDA), The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and The Murfreesboro Dental Society. Recognizing that each dental patient is unique and every smile is one-of-a-kind, Dr. Greg Nicholson and his friendly, highly-skilled team combine professional expertise and artistry to provide each client an individual experience. Our dental team’s family-centered, patient-focused approach delivers world-class, high-quality services for patients of all ages. From young children to senior-citizens, Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro can help you maintain healthy teeth and gums and provide a beautiful smile for life.
Having moved to Murfreesboro, TN from Ohio in 1978, Dr. Nicholson has lived almost his entire life in Middle Tennessee. He attended Riverdale High School and then The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN where he obtained his B.A. degree in Studio Art. He then went on to complete his D.D.S. degree at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Nicholson has been practicing dentistry in Murfreesboro since 1992. He has three now-grown children and enjoys time outside gardening and raising a small flock of chickens as well as beekeeping. He also enjoys tinkering with music and working on his 1975 MGB convertible. Working with his hands and being creative is what led him to dentistry. He has wanted to be a dentist since childhood (maybe it’s genetic–his paternal grandfather and great-grandfathers were also dentists!)
Just because we are located in Murfreesboro, doesn’t mean that we only serve patients from Murfreesboro. Being in the fastest-growing city near Nashville, we see people from all areas of Rutherford County and Middle Tennessee. We also have patients that live way outside of that area who travel to see Dr. Nicholson, because they recognize that our dental practice is where dentistry meets artistry!
Is Your Dentist An Artist?
Dr. Greg Nicholson is not only an amazing dentist who can create beautiful, custom-made smiles. He is also an accomplished artist as well. In addition to receiving his D.D.S. degree for dentistry, he also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts. He is a painter, sculptor, and photographer. All of the photos of Murfreesboro on this website were taken by him. The works of art below are also all made by him.
