CROWN

ME!

CROWNING ACHIEVEMENT!

What is a dental crown?  Crowns are basically tooth-shaped coverings, or caps, that fit over a re-shaped tooth or teeth.  They can be used to restore a broken tooth or to help protect and support a tooth that has been damaged by tooth decay, cracking, or other dental procedures, like a very large filling or a root canal treatment.  Crowns can also be used for cosmetic dental purposes such as the correction of a discolored or misshapen tooth.  Crowns are used in dental implant and fixed bridge procedures as well.

As with dental veneers, crowns can match the existing tooth color or, if the patient prefers, can be lighter and brighter than the existing natural teeth. Porcelain/ceramic crowns can let light shine through, just like real teeth, so they look completely natural.

Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro believes in saving a tooth or teeth whenever possible. This is one reason restorative dentistry patients patients prefer to come to us for dental crowns in Murfreesboro.

Crowns That Are Rugged and Regal

Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro offers dental crowns made from the highest quality porcelain/ceramic. We use the latest technology and best support materials to ensure all dental crowns are strong and long-lasting. (This is where we’d usually insert some sort of corny “crowns fit for a king” dad joke, but instead we’ll just say our crowns are rugged and regal.)

The real magic, however, is found with Dr. Greg Nicholson’s renowned dental artistry. This is where we encourage our patients to dream BIG, because he doesn’t just restore smiles . . . he transforms them. Whether you need one tooth repaired or want to brighten your entire smile, his remarkable skill and technique produce brilliant results.

And our family-friendly, patient-focused approach to dental crowns applies to all life stages and ages. At each appointment, we make sure you are as comfortable as possible; whether you need more local anesthetic numbing medicine, a chair adjustment, or additional assistance, we help you relax and feel safe.

(We’d like to point out that we didn’t use “majestic” or “royal” anywhere in the preceding paragraphs. You’re welcome.)
